McKaylin Felton crafts her characters with such tenderness, it’s easy to believe that this is a writer who truly loves each of them.

In her first novel, McKaylin shows the promise of a talented and thoughtful writer. I sensed that in her enthusiasm and excitement to publish, she may have rushed to print. But if Hardship & Devotion is ever reprinted, the scattered typographical errors in her manuscript will be easily corrected.

Even so, this is a lovely story and I sincerely hope McKaylin Felton continues to write and explore and dream and make us love her characters as she does.

Loved it! Loved the turn of events near the end and now find myself missing the characters and wanting more.
As someone who has always wanted to write a novel myself, I found this to be a wonderful first novel by a talented new writer. I hope that she continues to write and I will be eagerly waiting for her next novel.
Hardship and Devotion, is such a sweet story of letting go of the past to be able to move on to a future of love,and family joy. I have had the people in this story in my mind and heart and feel for them in having to deal with past hurts , loss and lack of trust. We all have these in our lives and she has a gentle way of showing how we can all heal. I am attached to this story and author for many reasons. She is a talented writer and I am anxious to read her upcoming works
Because I know the person who wrote it an she put her heart in it. I look forward to more books m.wilson
Even though I know the author from high school. Never expected her to write such amazing book. I enjoyed every moment of it. Can't wait for another book to be out. Good job!!!
If you like a romance novel then you will love this book. If you are the adventure type you will love this book. It has a little bit of everything I could not put it down. It was a well written book, it kept my interest the whole time.
