I loved all the books in this series but I think this might be my favorite. I definitely recommend it.

I love The Bad Boys of Red Hook series, but I must say Had To Be You is my favorite. I fell in love with Slater from the first page. My favorite part of the story is when Slater finds out he could be a father, Rocki's support of this news was awesome. I recommend you read Had to be You, and if you haven't read the books before this, I highly recommend you do so. Robin writes character's that are real, that could be your real life friends. I can see myself hanging with Slater and Rocki at my favorite restaurant In Red Hook.
Third in the series. Great story. Didn't expect to like this one as much as the first two but I did. Looking forward to Rocki's brother Jackson's story.

I enjoyed this book. It had a strong plot and great characters. I enjoy a good romance/suspense book. Hard to put down for the night so I can sleep.
I have read all the Bad boys of red hook, and have enjoyed each one but not like this one. I laughed I cried and I completely fell in love. I fell in love with Slater, with Rocki even with her brother. This story was everything I could want in a romance novel. So incredibly well written, I envy the talent of Robin Kaye. I will miss the family that is The Crows Nest.

I also want to add that family isn't always blood, but the family you choose yourself. And that is so beautifully depicted in this series. Pete Callahan is the definition of a father. When I read what he had done for Slater all these years, and how he took care of someone we never knew, well it warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes.

Wonderful job
I didn't think the series could get any better, but I was wrong. I loved Storm and Logan's story but I fell for Slater hook line and sinker right from the start. Robin did a fantastic job. If you haven't read the series I recommend reading all of the series.
This was a good book, however I gave it 4 stars because I didnt like that it started before the previous book (You're the One) ended. There is an epilogue in the previous book, and clearly these events have not yet happened as "Had to Be you" opened. If you read the books out of order it wouldnt be a big deal, but I would have rather it picked up where the other book left off or the author omitted the epilogue from the previous book if she had wanted to showRocki and Slaters first meeting on paper (in previous book's epilogue it showed Rocki and Slater had already met).
