Enjoyable book, good characters, plot full of mystery. Quite good.
This was actually much better than I expected, and I very much enjoyed it. There were a few loose ends or minor discontinuities, but nothing so noticeable as to interfere with the reading experience. It was a quick read, the characters were easy to sympathize/empathize with, and I would happily read more by this author.
Wow, is all I can say. This book is a fantastic read and great story line. Held my breath many times, definatly a page turner. I can not wait to read more by this author. Highly recommended. Suspense, thrill, romance, all rolled into one. Big thumbs up.
I really enjoyed this book and it's a first time read for me of this author. I didn't know until the end who killed Beth's twin Ellie and her husband Chris. The only thing I was disappointed in was the end. It left you hanging it should have had a Epilogue. I wanted to know more with Beth and her FBI lover Jason.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. I was not bothered about the ghost being essential to the plot, in fact, I liked the quirkiness of it. I figured out the villain, but could not figure out the motive, so had to read to the end to solve the "whodunit." The editing was better in the beginning, but then deteriorated at the end with quite a few typos. Liked the story, just not enough to rave over it.
I liked this and was surprised at the ending. It was a fun, light read. The ghost helping the twin sister was a nice touch.
The story was ok, but definitely not great. First of all, if she was playing the dead sister, she would have been grief stricken her husband had died. Then her sister right after and she was still able to function pretty normally? I would not think so. The ghost aspect was good, but a little too perfect. I don't see how this book got five star reviews. I finished it as I wanted to see the motive and all as I don't like not finishing a book. Don't know if I would read any more of Frankie Robertson or not, but won't be saving this book either.
